On the fateful day of November 3, 2020, a momentous event unfolded in Uganda, etching itself in the annals of history. The eminent leader of opposition, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert, popularly known as Bobi Wine, marked a significant milestone by being officially nominated as a presidential candidate.

The day commenced with an air of palpable anticipation, as hordes of fervent supporters lined the roads, eager to catch a glimpse of their beloved leader. Bobi Wine embarked on a resolute journey to the nomination grounds situated in the Kyambogo suburb of Kampala, amidst an ocean of adoring well-wishers.

However, the aspirations of this transformative figure were abruptly interrupted by an unfortunate turn of events. Shortly after his successful nomination, the Uganda Police executed an untimely arrest of Bobi Wine, apprehending him and escorting him back to his residence in Magere, Wakiso District.
